From the three small terraces the view opens from Ascona across to the islands and to the hills of the southern shore.

In the morning the water rests in soft light. At midday the sun settles over the Isole di Brissago. In the evening the lake turns golden — and the mountains cast long shadows across to Ascona.

Al Paradiso sits in Porto Ronco, one of the most romantic spots on Lago Maggiore — a few bends above the lakeside promenade, nestled into the old terraces of Ronco sopra Ascona.

Within minutes you are at the bathing bay or walking down to Brissago, where the boats leave for the legendary Isole di Brissago. Ascona — with its long piazza, its cafés and galleries — is under ten minutes by car, Locarno a quarter of an hour.
